Born in Ivory Coast and raised in Switzerland, Nabil has been active in commodities his entire life. He co-founded Namaco in 1996, one of the largest independent originators of West African Coffee and Cocoa. In 2000 he joined Lewton Associates, brokering soft commodities in Africa and South America and interacting with the industry’s biggest players. In 2003 he joined Audit Control & Expertise (ACE) Geneva, supervising credit facilities for USD 800m across 50 credit lines covering 5 geographies and more than 10 commodities. In 2006 Nabil joined INOKS Capital to seed and launch the Ancile Fund. By the end of 2008 he had taken over the company, and heads the team and its investment products to this day, past their 110th month of trading.
Nicolas started his career with Cotecna (Geneva) in 1995 where he coordinated operations for European, North & South American and Asian units whilst also supervising the ISO certification project. In 2001, he joined BNP Paribas Geneva ECEP, initially monitoring the trade finance portfolio, and later structuring credit lines in oil and petrochemicals for Europe and North America. In 2005, he moved to a Geneva based trading company specialized in steel & cement exports to Africa and two years later he accepted to overlook credit lines for steel and petroleum by-products exported to Europe, Africa and Middle-East for BCP, a Geneva based merchant bank. Nicolas holds a BA in Finance and Business Administration.
Ivan began his career in 2002 at a law firm specialized in corporate and sport law. To broaden his knowledge of the corporate world he switched to auditing for a major firm based in Geneva, where he oversaw the audit of several local SMEs. He then joined a family-owned company of 60 employees pioneering the illumination industry through its R&D. As CFO he modernized and restructured the business successfully. He holds a Master's of Law from the University of Geneva and several finance certificates. He completed an EMBA in 2013 and a Diploma in Commodity Trading in 2014. Through his Ukrainian and Croatian origins and multicultural upbringing he is fluent in French, English, Croatian and German.
Born in Uruguay, Cecilia has twenty years of experience in executive secretarial and administrative support to management levels and speaks fluently English, German and Spanish. She has wide experience of internet e-commerce, excellent computer skills and administrative software operations. She also worked 5 years in USA, mainly for an Industrial Printing related import-export company.
Nabil joins INOKS as Post Investment Reporting Officer. Prior to joining INOKS, he served as Fund Services Officer at Alter Domus Alternative Asset Fund Administration in Luxembourg, focusing on the administration, accounting, and reporting of Private Debt and Equity funds. He started his career as a Risk Analyst at Luxcellence Management Company, a subsidiary of CACEIS Bank Luxembourg, providing monthly and quarterly executive and regulatory reports to the Board of Directors, that illustrated key risk indicators within the investment fund portfolio (UCITS, Part II, SIFs, SICARs). Nabil holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Nice. He speaks French, English and Arabic.
Prior to joining INOKS as Deputy Risk & Compliance officer, Mathieu gained experience as an analyst in the Private Equity sector, where together with the deal team he analysed and executed transactions. He also supported the due diligence process through the use of cash-flow based models and in-depth company and market research. Additionally, his tasks included preparing investor presentations, writing financial reports, and creating a new internal database. Mathieu holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Geneva as well as a Masters in International Management from the University of Geneva and Yonsei University in Seoul. He speaks English and French.
Alexandre joined INOKS Capital in the spring of 2012 as a trainee before becoming a member of the Operational Department as Research Analyst. Supervised by the Head of Due Diligence, he contributes to setting up DD collection documents. He also provides input towards designing and coordinating the company database with other departments if necessary. He is an active member of Junior Entreprise Genève Alumni, HR & Quality Department. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Geneva and speaks fluently French, English and Spanish.
Raised in the Ivory Coast and in France, Loudji is fluent in English and French. Prior to joining INOKS Capital, he gained experience in various companies with commodity trading related activities in a Sales & Marketing capacity: WTDC, a logistics broker in the U.S.A.; Panalpina in Geneva, an international supply chain provider; and recently EDF Trading in London where he worked as a Gas Operator. He has also worked on various commodity and infrastructure projects in Africa as an independent consultant. He holds a BA in International Business from SKEMA Business School, Sophia-Antipolis, and a MS in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Cass Business School, London. Loudji joins INOKS Capital as a Research Analyst.
Ludovic joined INOKS Capital in the summer of 2016 as an impact analyst. As a member of the Due Diligence team, he contributes to the documentary due diligence process and is also responsible for impact analysis. He also serves as Treasurer for Club Ostlink, an organisation which aims to promote the accessibility of the Saint Gallen region for students. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics, at the University of St. Gallen and speaks fluently French, German and English.
Risk and compliance
Michael joined INOKS in 2014 as Chief Risk Officer. He holds a diploma in Nuclear Physics and a PhD in Applied Physics from EPFL in Lausanne. After joining UBS in 1990 as a fixed-income and equity derivatives trader, he later took over responsibility for implementing UBS's firm-wide risk aggregation system in preparation of Basle II. After successfully completing this task he joined the André Group in 1998, a major agricultural commodity trading company, ultimately becoming the Group Risk Manager. In 2003 Michael became an Executive Director of Heritage Bank in Geneva and a member of the Investment Committee. Since 2011, Michael provides risk management services on a consultancy basis.
Bogdan is an accomplished Legal professional with extensive experience within the corporate world, at Hewlett Packard Geneva and ADM International; within law firms, at Tavernier & Tschanz and Eversheds SA; and within Swiss administration and judiciary, having interned at the Moutier Regional Court, the Bern Administrative Court and the Bern Competition Commission whilst preparing for the Swiss Bar Exam. His academic record is also outstanding, having completed a Law Diploma in Bucharest, before heading to Switzerland to acquire a Master of Swiss Law with EU Law distinction from Fribourg in 2004, an LL.M in European and International Economic Law (Lausanne, 2005) and a Ph.D cum laude in International Trade Law (Lausanne, 2010).
Early 2014, Marc joined INOKS Capital as Compliance & Risk Officer. After obtaining his MSc in Business Management in 1995, he worked as a statutory auditor in audit firms. In 1998, in an international bank and later in a major regional bank, he went into audit related positions where he was exposed to various areas including investment banking and wealth management. In 2001, he became the senior assistant to the head of the Asset Management department and coordinated projects linked to risk and legal issues on financial products and services. Marc speaks French and English and holds a DAS in Risk Management as well as several certifications in AML, FATCA/QI and International Sanctions.
Born in India, Deeksha moved to Dubai in 2004 where she worked for DMCC as a supervisor for rough diamonds trading. After honing her finance skills with an Indian CA firm in 2008, she moved to Switzerland in 2009 to work for Noble. Here she analysed trends in global veg oil and oilseeds demand, initiating the implementation of fundamental analysis and synthetic market reports. Deeksha speaks fluent English, Hindi and basic French. She is currently pursuing her CMA from IMA, USA, holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Delhi University, India, and a Master's in International Business from Wollongong University, Australia.
After completing his Masters in Finance and Risk Management Rachid started his career in Project Management with ABB, the global leader in power technologies. He then moved to London to work for Moody’s Analytics before pursuing his career in the Middle East with the Islamic Development Bank. He was in charge of Structured Trade Finance within the Trade Finance division (which later emerged to the Islamic Trade Finance Corporation, ITFC). Back in London Rachid joined Newedge Group, as subsidiary of Société Générale, where he was globally responsible of a portfolio of world class commodity trading clients worth in excess of £500 million. Rachid is fluent in French and English. He manages INOKS' office in Dubai.
Armand began his career at PwC Dallas before returning to the Ivory Coast to serve as CFO of a State-owned cocoa and coffee trading company. He then joined Natixis as relationship manager for commodities trading in Western and Central Africa, before launching ACE's operations in Sierra Leone and Ghana, supervising credit facilities of over USD 100m for a range of commodities. Armand contributes his extensive experience of Structured Trade Finance in West Africa to sourcing new opportunities for INOKS in the region. He is a Certified Public Accountant since 2002 and a former member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. He holds MScs in Accounting and in Management & Administration from the University of Texas.
Raised in the UK and Switzerland, David gained field experience of trade logistics at SDV Senegal (Bolloré Group). He then joined UBP in Geneva where he worked with several teams dealing with alternative investments, ultimately joining the trading team executing orders on UBP’s portfolio of alternative and traditional fund investments. David now handles investor relations, marketing and client services here at INOKS. He holds a BSc (Hons) in International Management with American Business Studies from the University of Manchester and HEC Montreal, and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
