We are driven by the challenge of channelling capital to businesses that need it the most, in particular small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) within emerging economies that struggle to access it. We believe that these will be the leaders of tomorrow. Rather than leveraging traders or speculators betting on price volatility, we focus on supporting tangible actors which contribute to the growth of value chains that benefit their communities. We view this as the only resilient, long- term proposition.
